All Instructors at the club volunteer their time to allow the students to continue to learn and love Goju Ryu Karate style, many of which have been a part of the club for decades! So let's get to know the Instructors!

Head of Goju Ryu Karate-Do Tasmania, Shihan Stuart - has been with the club for 33 years; originally beginning in 1990, at 14 years of age. And continues to teach and guide our students to reach their goals.

Originally coming from Goju Kai, Senpai Luke joined the Dojo in 1995, and continues to be a familiar face - that is always willing to help out and step in where needed.

Shihan Owen, known in the dojo for his amazing fighting skills. Joined the club in ----, at the age of --. And continues to set a high standard for kumite in the Dojo.
Nadia Dandolo

Joining the Dojo when she was only 7, our nurse/Senpai Nadia is our predominant Monday night teacher. Known for her amazing soccer skills, Nadia never fails to amaze.

Senpai Duncan, the leader of the Taylor family - is a vital part of our Dojo. Bringing continuous smiles and energy wherever he goes, Duncan is one of our SUPERSTARS!

Madison Mackey

Achieving her black belt at only 12 year's old! Making Senpai Madison the Dojo's youngest black belt. Known in the Dojo for being a perfectionist and her love for Kata.
Max Ellis

Senpai Max, our teacher by day, and night! A black belt in both Shodakan and Goju style karate. Known for his speed, and launch - you can find Senpai Max also making up a few kicks here and there.

Known for her love for Kumite, and her loud Kiai's. Senpai Emma is our newest black belt and has represented the state by competing at the Nationals.
